Employees

Naomi McKinnon

Naomi is a trained and qualified secondary schoolteacher with a science degree majoring in Maths from Auckland University. She was Deputy Principal of Gospel High School where she taught for many of her 35 years in Fiji. Naomi was also a Community and Family Counsellor. Naomi has a heart for people, passionately supporting them and advocating on their behalf in order to see them at a better place in life.

Lynette Simpson

Lynette manages the day to day running of the Trust and handles all administration, accounting and financial affairs. Lynette has 15 years of Banking, Auditing and Finance experience. She also supports Naomi with Family Work in the Community. She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management and is a provisional member of NZICA's ACA College.

Sirikit Diaz

Sirikit works with Family's in the Community on behalf of the Trust. She has 25 years of Banking Experience and is concurrently employed with Kiwibank, GI and is a friendly and familiar face in our community. 

Roxanne Adams

Roxanne works with families in the community providing them with mentoring, advocacy and life skills support.  She runs a breakfast club at Pt England School 3 mornings a week for children of the school.  Roxanne has previously worked as a Relief Childcare Worker and also a Catcaller at the Survey Research Unit at the Auckland University and has completed 6 papers towards a teaching degree with the Faculty of Education, University of Auckland.

Nick Mulqueeney

Nick is the newest addition to the trust and works with the young boys and men from families referred to the Trust.  Nick has done volunteering work in Mt Eden Remand Prision, mentoring for CYFS, and pastoral counselling undertaken as part of his role as Associate Pastor for Eden Community Church, Mt Eden.

He has a Bachelor of Theology from Carey Baptist College and is also a post-graduate diploma in counselling from the University of Auckland.

Board Members

Russell Burt

Russell is one of the co-founders, pioneers and a longstanding member on the board of Tamaki Community Development Trust.  He is the Principal of Pt England Primary School.  Experienced in overseas education to the third world, he currently operates a number of youth programmes for local children.  Russell has a passion for children and families in the Tamaki community to experience their true potential.

Geoff Sturt

Geoff is a long serving member of the Tamaki Community Development Trust. He is the owner and operator of Sturt Landscaping, and employs local staff in his business. Geoff also coaches local youth sports teams and has experience in Counselling. Geoff was born in Papua New Guinea and lived there for a number of years. He has always had a heart for working with the community in need.

Mary Samuels

Mary is one of the co-founders and a longstanding member of the Tamaki Community Development Trust. She has overseas experience in aid and holistic support to third world countries. Mary has a passion to see the people of our community restored from the tragic circumstances of life that often leave them broken and hurting.

Gillian Guptill

Gillian has been a trustee since the end of 2005. She has a passion for serving the community and empowering those in need. Gillian works part time as a lawyer at the Mangere Community Law Centre and is also on the trust board for a women's refuge. She is married to Max and they have an eight year old daughter.

Kathryn Moore

Kathryn Moore is Deputy Principal of Tamaki College and has been with the College for the last 10 years. She joined the Trust in mid-2009.
